ACADEMIC PROJECTSRECORDANDREPLAY STACKABLE FILE SYSTEMImplemented a stackable file system using wrapfs, that intercepts file systemmethods. A kernel threadalong with a producer/consumer approach was used to handle requests asynchronously. Also there wasselective tracing of f/s methods by using ioctl’s . Operations were replayed in the user level.
DISTRIBUTEDHISTORY-BASEDACCESS CONTROL POLICY EVALUATIONWorking Implementation of algorithm discussed in paper ”Scalable and Secure Concurrent Evaluation ofHistory-based Access Control Policies”. Improvised the existing algorithm throughmultiversionconcurrency control and timestamp ordering. Useful for handling history based access control.Implementation was done in DistAlgo ( a high level language over python) XML and JSON.
IMPLEMENTATIONOFACLOUDBASEDAPPLICATION FORANE-VARSITYI developed a web application to enable students and teachers to be part of a common environment toenable a virtual classroomwith features such as live video counselling using third party APIs along withother features in an online student application. The backend systemwas built using REST services offeredby Azure.
