Hey Division 68! My name is
John and I am a sophomore
attending Country Christian
School. I run Cross Country and
in my spare time I like running,
playing tennis, swimming,
hanging out with friends, and
Key Club! I started Key Club
my freshman year because my
friends were in it, after the first
meeting, I was hooked, by the
end of my freshman year I had
154 hours, breaking my school
record for most hours as a
freshman which earned me
“Key Clubber of the Year.” I im-
mediately wanted to do some-
thing more in Key Club and
when Leo told me about run-
ning for Lieutenant Governor, I
practically jumped at the
opportunity .
I am very excited to work
with all of you in this upcoming
year. Some of my plans are
that I want to improve club-to-
club communication, improve
club to Lieutenant Governor
communication with me, and
also to have a more unified di-
vision with more joint projects.
If you guys have any questions,
comments, or concerns please
let me know! I wish you all the
best of luck in this upcoming
year!

Hello Division 68!
Wow, we have all come so
far and I cant believe its finally
time for me to hand over the
thrown. We have all grown so
much during this past year and I
feel like we have united our-
selves as a division. During my
term I have accomplish multiple
goals of mine, all thanks to the
help of all of you. I wouldn't
have been able to do so much
for this division without the help
of all your cooperation with my
annoying emails, my random
phone calls, and my constant
reminders to serve, serve, serve.
Thank you to all who voted and
decided on the new Lieutenant
Governor and I know everyone
as a division will not regret it.
During my term I was excited to
serve all of you, each school,
each club, and each member
in any way I could and I am truly
proud of every single one of the
members in Division 68 for the
countless service hours you
have all put in to making this
world a better world for you and
for me and the entire human
race. Division 68, I leave you
with this, remember to get to
know John and make sure you
send him a message here and
there asking him how the job is
and how he's doing because as
a past LtG I know that knowing
my club members cared about
me made all the late nights
worth it. You are all in good
hands and I know John will not
reach the bar I set, he will set a
new one much higher then
mine was. I love my division and
I will always be here for you
guys! Good luck John and re-
member DIVISION 68, WE SO
GREAT!
With Love and Service,
Leo Gomez
Divisional Council Meeting
Sorry everyone I have not yet set up my first DCM,
but I can say it will be towards the end of the month.
Also because of the layout of our district I will try to
choose a location that is reasonable for everyone to
make it! Also within the next few months we can
expect to have a joint-DCM with Division 70.
When I conclude on the date and location of our
first DCM I will let you guys know!

The ELIMINATE Project
For The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and
UNICEF joined forces to eliminate maternal and neo-
natal tetanus. This deadly disease steals the lives of
nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant num-
ber of women each year. The effects of the disease
are horrid, tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful con-
vulsions and become extremely sensitive to light and
touch.
To eliminate MNT from the Earth, more than 100 mil-
lion mothers and their future babies must be immun-
ized. This requires vaccines, syringes, safe storage,
transportation, thousands of skilled staff and more. It
will take US$110 million and the dedicated work of
UNICEF and every member of the Kiwanis family.
Currently we are at US$49 million dollars, we have
done great but we cannot give up now! You can find
out more about it yourself or look at the progress map
online at sites.kiwanis.org
