NOX MEMBERS KEEP GIVING
A cheque for $500 was donated to the Japanese CanadianCultural Centre's Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. Thanks to our
members and friends in London, we were able to meet our goal.
The giving doesn't stop there however. We still continue to raise
funds for the year long campaign for Hombu Dojo RestorationProject. Sensei Fall and the members of his dojo are raffling off a
week at a beautiful lakeside cottage in Goderich, Ontario. For just
$10, you get 10 chances to win. Tickets are available in the NOX Store.
Website ImprovementI would like to thank all of our members who have continued to support the dojo this pastyear making for a sustained growth within our Karate programs. With the addition of
Andrew as a regular instructor during the week, NOX is able to continue its growth into2012. I would rather be spending my time teaching than doing the necessary bookworkor other tedious duties. In an effort to reduce the required time of these mundane tasks Ihave begun working with an online module that permits members to manage their own
account.
Using this new web module not only allows members to renew and sign up online as an
option, it also adds more value to the club by having a 24/7 online video learning sectionto all of our members. You can also view live schedule changes, book classes, andregister for tournaments all online in the comfort of your own home. You can even orderthe latest equipment or merchandise. The module also permits a new option to sign up
using an easy monthly payment plan.
To make this transition easier, I will have a new dedicated dojo computer station comingsoon. In June, I am asking everyone to register onto our new online interface. In July, I will
begin to add videos and shortly after everyone will have to do a simple check-inprocedure before class.

Moving Update!
Despite rumours of a looming demolition date, our landlord does not want to release the
dojo from the lease. We do have a few spots in mind but until we get our 6 month notice, there is nothing we can do. Therefore our move is postponed until further notice.
Meibukan Games Successful....Again!
Originally, we were supposed to host the last Meibukan Games this past May. It was sucha success however that Sensei Fall and I decided that it would be unwise to change theformula. Therefore we have decided to continue the inter-club competition and have a
joint invitational multi-style tournament next year.
