Omair Sana Foundation: Intro
• Omair Sana Foundation (OSF) is an initiative taken back in 2002 by a Pakistan-born American doctor, Kashif Hussain Ansari. The Foundation is named after two kids, Omair and Sana, he lost to Blood Diseases. Under his leadership, OSF is run and managed by a group of highly qualified professionals from different walks of life.

• The Foundation offers capacity building support to other thalassaemia centers across the country.
• OSF also provides health relief in disaster situations.

• CVS – Over 1200 performed; 300 aborted. Mostly from rural Sindh and Baluchistan .
• So far - 3500 Individuals of 525 families have been screened.
• On an average - 11,000 individuals screened annually, 7% minors reported.

• Over 200 workshops and 300 lectures held covering over 50,000 people. Thalassaemia Prevention program in leading educational institutions.
