OSM Data Model
• Three feature types:o Nodes (points, vertices)o Ways (edges, lines)o Relations
• Areas as closed ways, or multipolygons with relations • Tags (attributes) open ended
o Key-value system, string basedo e.g. name=Patrick Henry Library,amenity=library
• Topologicalo Ways connect with common node
