PASTOR’S LETTER EASTER
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Are you looking for Jesus? This is thequestion. It was the question of the angel, theyoung man dressed in a white robe at thetomb on that first Easter day. This is hisquestion for us also. Whom are you lookingfor? Yes, we are all looking for Jesus and allthat He brings to us both in word and deed, allthat we are looking and longing for both inwords and deeds, healing, wholeness, acceptance and forgiveness!
What are we looking for? Someone who willmove the stone away, the question of thewomen who followed Jesus? Who will movethe stones away in our own lives for they maybe very large! But, look, they are alreadyrolled back - by Jesus in His words at the lastsupper repeated to us each Lords day. Givenand shed for you for the forgiveness of sins, our own brokeness.
Yes, each Sunday is a little Easter Sunday throughout the year and especially during theEastertide. Let us look for Jesus. Let usremember His sacrifice for us. Let usremember that we are a died for people andfollow him in lives of faith and commitment.
Brother’s and sisters, He is here and Hehas been raised! Now go and tell! Because He lives, we shall live also!
I look forward to greeting and serving youall each Lord’s day.
Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
A blessed, Happy Easter to all!
In Christ,
The Rev. Ronald M. Klose, Pastor

School News April 2018
Happy Spring! Happy Easter! Althoughspring has arrived on the calendar, we arestill anxiously awaiting the warmer weatherof this season. The Nursery School will beclosed March 29 and resume April 9th andday care will be closed March 29 andresume on April 3. This will give my staffsome time to recharge and get ready for ourspring activities. The color of the month isappropriately purple, the church’s colorrepresenting Christ our King. Our shape ofthe month is a diamond like a kite, as wewill learn about wind and weather. In April we will also celebrate TeddyBear Pajama Day. A fun day when staff andchildren wear cozy p.j.’s and bring ourfavorite teddy bear to school. Our pre-kgraduates will be photographed wearingcaps and gowns for a wonderful portraitkeepsake. In addition, our 2 ½ year oldLearn & Play Group children will haveindividual and class portraits done.
A sure sign of spring is that I amsimultaneously working on our currentevents as well as planning and preparing forSummer Fun 2018 as well the 2018 - 2019school year. This busy time of the year isquite rewarding because it confirms to methat our early childhood program continuesto have a great reputation in the community.
May your spring season be blessed aswe celebrate the resurrection of our Lord! Happy Easter! Fondly,Caitlin DiLemme, Director
