In a major relief to parents, theSupreme Court today cleared thedecks for nursery admissions inthe capital and asked the govern-ment to accommodate 24 studentsunder the inter-state transfer cate-gory whose parents approached it.
Abench headed by Justice H LDattu quashed the Delhi govern-ment notification issued onFebruary 27 by which it hadscrapped the inter-state transfer(IST) category, but made it clearthat only 24 students whoapproached it will be gettingadmission under that bracket.(PTI)
