Paul William Walker IV[2](September 12, 1973 November 30, 2013) was an Americanactorwho began his career guest-starring in severaltelevisionshows such asThe Young and the RestlessandTouched by an Angel. Walker gained prominence with breakout roles incoming-of-ageandteen filmssuch asShe's All ThatandVarsity Blues. In 2001, Walker gained international fame for playingBrian O'Conner, one of the leadprotagonistsin thestreet racingaction filmThe Fast and the Furious, and would reprise the role in five of itssix sequels. He was also in films such asEight Below,Timeline,Into the Blue,Joy RideandRunning Scared.Outside of acting, Walker was the face ofThe Coty PrestigefragrancebrandDavidoff Cool Water for Men, and starred in theNational Geographic Channelseries,Expedition Great White. He also founded the charityReach Out Worldwide(ROWW), an organization providing relief efforts for areas affected bynatural disasters.Walker died in asingle-car accidenton November 30, 2013, alongside friend Roger Rodas. Three of his films were released posthumously:Hours,Brick Mansions, andFurious 7, which was released on April 3, 2015 in theUnited Statesand theUnited Kingdom.
