ABSTRAK

Kompas Gramedia Hospitality Suite (CITIS Network) merupakan salah
satu anak perusahaan dari Kompas Gramedia Group yang bergerak di bidang
media. CITIS network sendiri terdiri dari beberapa divisi, tidak hanya bagian media
and publishing melainkan juga ada divisi yang berorientasi pada pengembangan
produk.
Selama pelaksanaan magang, proses bisnis yang terjadi pada CITIS
network sebuah aplikasi website berbasis cloud based system yang dirancang untuk
mempermudah user dalam hal manajemen hotel secara online. Perkembangan
dengan cloud computing adalah salah satu hal yang mendasar dalam membuat
website. Website dirancang menggunakan VSC sebagai backend dan frontend, SQL
Server sebagai basis data, vue.js sebagai editor perancangan, serta axios sebagai
media dalam mengakses Application Programming Interface (API). Website yang
ditampilkan berupa modul banquet yaitu salah satu bagian dari food and beverage
Department yang bertugas untuk menangani kegiatan-kegiatan seperti jamuan
makan atau pesta yang diselenggarakan oleh panitia pemesan ataupun dari pihak
hotel itu sendiri. Namun pada pelaksanaan magang kali ini lebih ditekankan kepada
pengembangan modul banquet terutama mengenai banquet itu sendiri, di dalam
pengembangannya akan digunakan teknologi pengembangan website seperti
Markdown, git.hub, dan docusaurus untuk membuat sebuah tampilan website yang
menarik.
Keluaran yang akan dihasilkan dari pelaksanaan magang ini yaitu tampilan
website yang telah mengikuti kebutuhan user. Hasil tersebut diharapkan dapat
dibaca oleh user.

ABSTRACT

Kompas Gramedia Hospitality Suite (CITIS Network) is a subsidiary of
Kompas Gramedia Group which is engaged in the media sector. The CITIS network
itself consists of several divisions, not only the media and publishing division but also
the division oriented towards product development and marketing.
During the internship, the business processes that occur on the CITIS network
are web applications based on a cloud system designed to make it easier for users to
manage hotels online. Developments with cloud computing is one of the basic things
in making a website. The website is designed using VSC as the backend and frontend,
SQL Server as the database, vue.js as the design editor, and axios as the medium to
access the Application Programming Interface (API). The website displayed is in the
form of a banquet module, which is part of the food and beverage department whose
job it is to handle activities such as banquets or parties organized by the booking
committee or from the hotel itself. However, in the implementation of this internship,
the emphasis is on developing the banquet module, especially regarding the banquet
itself, in its development, website development technologies such as Markdown,
git.hub, and docusaurus will be used to create an attractive website appearance. .
The output that will be produced from the implementation of this internship is
a website display that has followed the user's needs. The results are expected to be
readable by the user.

Puji dan syukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa sehingga laporan kerja magang yang
berjudul “PEMBUATAN USER MANUAL MODUL BANQUET PADA HOTEL
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DI KOMPAS GRAMEDIA” dapat diselesaikan dalam waktu
yang tepat dan sesuai. Laporan magang ini disusun dan diajukan sebagai salah satu
syarat dalam menyelesaikan mata kuliah magang dan untuk memenuhi kelulusan Strata
1, Program Studi Sistem Informasi, Fakultas Teknik dan Informatika Universitas
Multimedia Nusantara. Maka dari itu, tidak lupa juga untuk mengucapkan rasa terima
