PENNIES FOR PATIENTS BACKGROUND
During the month of February in 2012 my High
School participated in a service project supporting
called Pennies for Patients, which was supports the
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The leadership class
I was in created and put on every event to raise
money for the society. My school has been involved
in this project for the past 8 years.
FUNDRAISERS
Our fundraisers included:
WJ’s Best Dance Crew
Pong for Pennies for Patients
Video Game Tournament
WJ’s Amazing Race
Speed Dating
Stuck for a Buck
Canned Food Drive
Lunch time money collection
WE RAISED $58,263.53
By the end of the month, our total was $58,263.53; we raised over $20,000 than last years class for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
One of the fundraisers was Pong for Pennies for Patients; or PPP. Each team of two paid $10 to enter a bracket to play water pong after school. I dressed up as CatDog with my friend.

WALTER JOHNSONS BEST DANCE CREW
Another fundraiser we put on was Walter Johnson’s Best Dance Crew in which people paid $25 per team to sign up and compete for the title of best dance group. I participated in this as well with my Senior Class Officers.
