Plenary speakerGEOFFREY THOMAS has been pastor of Alfred Place Baptist Church for 50 years. Having become a Christian in his teens, Pastor Thomas began his theological training after grammar school, studying at Cardiff University and Westminster Theological Seminary. During his formative years Geoff was influenced by the ministry of Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones and reading books by J.I. Packer, Whitefield and J.C. Ryle. Pastor Thomas has written scores of articles and several
books and also served as associate editor of The Banner of Truth. He is a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the world, and is a Visiting Professor of Historical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, MI. Pastor Thomas and his wife, Iola, have three daughters, nine grandchildren and one great grandson.
