Ticket Type Welcome Aboard!Capitol Corridor celebrated another record-breaking year, with bothridership and revenue in FY2018 reaching all-time highs, and on-timeperformance maintained its standard with an average of 90%. As apremier green travel option in the Northern California megaregion, the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA) has redoubled itsefforts to sustain growth into the future, with over $90 million in statefunding for infrastructure improvements, safety upgrades, customerservice enhancements, and service expansion, positioning the CapitolCorridor to remain committed to excellence in the years to come.

Capital Improvements CCJPA was hard at work during FY2018 to ensurethat our equipment met federal safety regulationdeadlines, provided some updates to stationamenities, and secured funding that will allow usto take our customer experience and service intothe next generation.
Positive Train Control (PTC): All CapitolCorridor equipment certified PTCcompliant.
California Integrated Ticket Program: Kickoff conferenceheld in May of 2018, and program funding approvalthereafter.
Passenger Information Display (PIDs): SRA fundingapproval to update all stations with new, updated PIDs sign.
Bike Access: Completed installation of eLockers at allstations.
Service Expansion: Funding approved for EnvironmentalReview and Planning Design for increased frequenciesbetween Oakland and San Jose.
Sac-Roseville Third Rail Project: Initial designcompleted.
