I am confident my magazine fills the gap in the market because no other fitness magazine tackles issues from the media.
Also no other magazine tries to find the most efficient cheapest way of getting fit without losing quality.
It is hard not to have much flesh showing in photographs because people want to see what they can get from doing a certain workout so instead I have to have people wear t-shits which can hide certain parts that are important in a magazine of this genre.

Audience is unique, no other fitness magazine focused on the north east.

• They have local advertising • Not many big sports brands • Don’t make big money from advertisement

• So…• My photography will be good for all ages • No taboo language • The topics can be good for most reader
groups

Magazine is distributed with the Northern Echo around the Northern Echo.
Around 40,000 copies are read.

Research changed what I was going to write about also because I didn’t want to have articles that have already been done.

I looked at this magazine to see what features I should include and what I could do differently.
