Lincoln Park Zoo and the Notebaert Nature Museum invite you to join us for a lecture by Frans de Waal! A fascinating and surprising exploration of our humanity, as seen
through the behavior of our closest primate kin.
World renowned primatologist and author of Chimpanzee Politics and
Bonobo: The Forgotten Ape, Frans de Waal is a pioneer in the exploration
of human behavior evolution as a reflection of our primate cousins. His
latest book, Our Inner Ape, challenges our understanding of “human
nature” and leads us to question ourselves, and our behavior. Thoughtful
and provocative, Our Inner Ape reveals the connections we share between
chimps and bonobos, and human beings.
