A multi-faceted view of the future of food
Watch the best bits from Chicago
Global brands shared the stage with the industry’s most disruptive startups at this year’s American Food Innovate Summit. Consumer-driven innovation, brand integrity, collaboration & AI were core themes weaved throughout the 2019 agenda.
JUST’s opening keynote delivered their recipe for sustainable innovation, echoed by PepsiCo’s Nutrition Greenhouse collaboration program. Mondelēz highlighted the importance of a customer-centric approach, with Revolution Foods detailing the possibilities of AI.
Day two started with insights into Perfect Day’s new supply chain for protein. Followed by a close look at high-risk innovation by Land O’Frost. The panel discussion stirred audience debate on the importance of consumer insights, featuring Swanson Health, Revolution Foods, La Terra Fina USA and Enjoy Life Foods.
And the innovation didn’t stop there. Space food from NASA & Stevia ice cream made an appearance in the exhibition hall. Networking began on the Sunday evening, where attendees gathered for the Ultimate
Super Bowl Experience. Food World brought together over 380 industry experts in the middle of a polar vortex for one of the most successful events to date.
