Make Cornflour SlimeYou will need:
200ml waterfood colouring200-300g cornflour
MethodTip the cornflour into a bowl.Add the water to the cornflour a little at a time.Keep adding water until the mixture becomes thick and hardens when you tap it. Add a few drops of food colouring and mix well. Put your hands in the slime:

Fizzy ColoursYou will need:
plastic cups a traypaint brushes or syringeswhite vinegara few tubs of bicarbonate of sodadifferent food colouring
MethodTip the bicarbonate of soda into the tray and spread it out.Put a few drops of different food colouring in each plastic cup.Half fill each cup with white vinegar. Put a paintbrush (or syringe) into each pot.Suck up the coloured vinegar and drip it into the tray. What happens to the bicarb powder? Once you have 2 or 3 different colours on the tray mix them together.What happens? What can you see in the mixture?
Paper Towel ColoursYou will need:

MethodPut the red food colouring in one cup and the blue in another cup. Add water to both cups. Roll 1-2 sheets of kitchen towel lengthways into a tube.Bend the tube in half and dip one end into each cup.What happens? What colour can you see where the red and blue meet? How could you make green? Orange? Purple?
Rainbow Making You will need:
one cup of whole milk (blue top)different food colouringswashing up liquid
MethodPour the milk into a bowl.Drop 3 drops of one food colouring at one side of the bowl.Drop 3 drops of another colour on the other side of the bowl.Drop 3 drops of another colour away from the other two colours.Be careful not to mix the colours. Squeeze a drop of washing up liquid into the middle of the bowl.What happens to the colours?
