The delegation of RC Holy Spirit in the De-cember 9 Past Presidents Fellowship Nightand District Christmas Party held at the UPBahay ng Alumni consisted of FC PresidentEui Bong Jung, HOP Beth Sy, DG SpouseRtn. Peth Rivera, HOP & current LG Linda

A feature of the fun event was
the contest among batches ofpast presidents. Adjudged win-
ners were:

2nd Place: Hands On Presi-
dents
3rd Place: Peace Presidents
All cash prize awards were do-nated by the winning teams tothe D3780 project to benefit the
survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda.

On November 11, 2013, a human milk pasteurizing machinewas turned over to the Dr Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in
Sta Cruz, Manila. This was made possible through a Global Grant
applied for by RC Timog RID 3780 and co-sponsored by RC DaejonRID 3680 of South Korea. Total cost of the pasteurizing equip-ment is $38,000. The project is an answer to a real communityneed and is aligned with one of Rotarys area of focus: Maternal
and Child Health Care.
The human milk bank will collect, screen, process, store and dis-tribute donated milk to meet the specific needs of infants, in par-
ticular.
Fabella Hospital, anational maternityhospital where about300-400 mothers give
birth daily, has an ex-sting milk pasteuriz-ng machine donatedby several organiza-tions in March 2008.The new pasteurizer isvery timely so that thehospital can continueservicing the needs ofpatients. For the last five5) years, about 2500nfants confined at Fabella and in other hospitals were benefici-
aries of the milk bank.

At the end of the program, DG Francis Rivera was gifted by
DG Ik-Hwan Lee with a very nice gold-plated replica of the crow

The projects local co-host clubs are RCs Holy SpCubao Central, Cubao West, Kamuning, Quezon
Roxas and West Triangle.
