Report 2009-10
Bhartiy Vedic Vigyan Academy under the Bhartiyam Science Society (registered under
society act) is active in 2008 for science awareness programmes in Easter Uttar Pradesh and
participated as collaborative events by different organisations. Also we start national journal “Indian
Journal of Traditional Science” and its first issue come into august first week. After 2010 it active
through whole India with collaboration with many organizations, NGOs like Peoples Livelihood
Uplift Society (PLUS) Orissa, International Forum of Indian Heritage (IFIH), Parivartan and many
more.
Many programmes are organised by Academy in past years and we mention here few of them.
International Conference on Vedic Science & Vedas
Held at Babu Ram Singh Bhai Singh Memorial P.G. College in Babrala district Badaun Uttar Pradesh.
1st January 2009.
Our collaboration with TATA Chemicals Ltd., Babrala Degree College in this event. In this event
many scientists and Professors from NBRI, Ruhelkhand University, Akhil Bhartiya Sanskrit Sansthan
Lucknow, AAI-DU, Allahabad and many participated from near districts.
In this programme General Manager of TATA Chemicals, Dr. Jitendra Tripathi, Akhil Bhartiya
Sanskrit Sansthan, Lucknow; Member of Parliament Badaun, SDM Babrala and many eminent personalities are participated.
Special feature of this event is RTI (Right to Information) section which chaired by Information
Commissioner of UP Major Sanjay Yadav.

Villagers talk cum Conference “Vedic Science & Hereditary”
Held at Narendra Dev manch Jigna Mishra district Deoria. December 2010.
Our collaboration with Science Awareness Society and other local workers. In this event scientist
from Dr. Rajavashisth Tripathi UCLA, Dr. Sharad Mishra Gorakhpur University, Dr. Nikhil Kumar
NBRI, Dr. A.N. Tripathi, Co-ordinator Krishi Vigyan Kendra; Swami Ram Hriday Das ji Mahraj,
Ramaynikuti Chitrakoot, Principal Malviya Degree College, Bhatpar Rani . Also this event got
support and appreciation of Dr. G.C. Mishra, Director, National Centre for Cell Science, Pune.
Major finding of this villagers talk they aware about diabetes and in survey we found each familyhave minimum 3 to 4 people suffered by this disease and it become alarm to fight with this disease.

Vigyan Chaupal is an innovative step by society in 2010 to make aware farmers about new
technology and make their role in sustainable development. We are making their own committee for
discussing science and technology acceptance into agriculture reform and economic stability. Also
time to time Agriculture Scientists and Soil Scientists give them advice for better agriculture
practices. This step of society got appreciation of Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, father of Green revolution
in India.
Gangetic Climate Change Initiative (GCCI) is one of finest example of awareness programme in
whole India. In this scientific journey we will travel nearly 2500 km from Delhi to Shimla then
Shimla to Leh via road to make awareness through dialogue and demonstration of Climate change as
well as community meeting at different places. In second phase we go from Rishikesh to Gangotri,
third phase up to Nilgiris and then for North-east states. We are getting support of many eminent
scientists, personalities like Prof. Arun Gupta, IIM-A; Dr. Vandana Shiva; Dr. Sunita Narayanan,
Director, CSE; Mrs. Rama Rauta, Expert Member, NGBRA; Prof. ADN Bajpai, VC, HP University
and many more. (Proposed)
Eco-Panchayat is an innovative step with collaboration PLUS Orissa (NGO) to make involvement of
Panchayat into environmental awareness programme to adopt low carbon farming and make role of
each villager into sustainable development, sustainable agriculture and for electric needs bio gas
plants.
Remote education system initiated into remote villages of Pauri area in Uttrakhand without any
financial help. Our co-ordinator into Pauri for this programme is Er. Amit Jugran who served free of
cost to village students. In this we arrange lectures via skype or internet technologies with the help of
Nanoglint Softerwares, Kanpur (www.nanoglint.com ).
Attendance at many environmental platforms like Save Ganga Movement Yatra on 22 nd October 2010
chaired by Dr. G.D. Agarwal, Environmentalist, Ex-Professor IIT Kanpur, also HNB Garhwal
University, Srinagar and 23rd April 2011 chaired by Dr. R.K. Pachauri, Chairman IPCC; Sundar Lal
Bahuguna, Environmentalist in Aviral Nirmal Ganga Conference at Parmarth Niketan Rishikesh.
For climate awareness we are starting Climate Change Essay Examination at national level. We are
organising examination in all states into which select only top five from each state that go for national
level examination. In this we are co-ordinated by different organisations in each state.
We also started chapters of Academy in different states for our representation in science awareness. In
the starting Uttrakhand chapter handled by Mr. Kuldeep, working at Forest Survey of India Dehradun.
For science popularisation throughout India we have many resource persons for this.
