African-American Scientists and
Inventors
Black History Month, also known as African-American History Month in America, is an annual observance in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom to celebrate the achievements and contributions of African-Americans.
Black History Month first began in the 1920s. Since then, February has been designated as Black History Month by every U.S. president since 1976.

The purpose of this research project is to honor African American chemists, biologists, inventors, engineers and mathematicians that have contributed to the advancement of science and technology.
