1 onion, sliced2 red peppers, sliced2 yellow peppers, sliced1 ancho chili, slicedolive oil2 cloves garlic, minced8 leaves basil, chopped1 teaspoon oregano2 lbs sausage links2 cups red wine28 oz can whole San Marzano tomatoes, crushed by hand

Saut onion, peppers, and chili in olive oil.Add garlic, basil, and oregano and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from pan.Prick sausages and brown in pan over medium high heat.Add wine, vegetables, and tomatoes.Simmer, partially covered, for 20 minutes.Remove sausages, slice, and return to pan.Serve with crusty bread or pasta.
