Step 1 - Use your spotlight and search Quicktime

Step 3 - Choose file > New Screen Recording

Step 4 - Click the carrot and clickthe mic you want to use.

Step 5 - Click the record button. You have the option of recording your entire screen or may select part of the screen as well.

You will see this Screen Recording window open when you’re recording your screen. Don’t worry, it won’t show up in your video.
Step 6 - Click the stop button when you are finished recording.

Your screencasts will automatically be saved in your Movies.

By clicking on the little “share” icon in the lower left of your screencast, you have multiple options to share your movie.

If you select trim, you can shave off the beginning and end of your screencast.

You can also export your screencast and duplicate from the Quicktime file menu.

In Drive, select Upload > Files
Navigate to your screencast and upload. You will see the upload progress in the lower right

1. Open you the screencast you just uploaded2. Click Share in the upper right3. When you see the screen above, click Change

4. Select the visibility options and then choose Save.

5. Copy the link to the movie to share it via email, your blog, blackboard, edmodo, etc.

6. If you would like to embed the video, choose file > embed this video
Note - you must choose “anyone with the link” if you want your video to be embedded publicly

7. Copy the code in the next window and then select OK.
8. Paste the embed code on the web site you want to share the screencast through.
