As a business member in the Fairfield, Suisun City and Cordelia communities, weknow you appreciate that a strong community takes commitment from all its business andindividual members to succeed. Through business Sponsors, such as yourself, individualmembers and the Friends Bookstore book sales, the Friends of the Library provide thefunding for reading and activity programs throughout the year for our local library cluster.Without the Friends support, the libraries would not be able to offer enrichment programs forour children, young adults and adults. Dear Local Business Manager,
As we begin our sixteenth season, the Solano Winds Community Concert Band is reachingout to local businesses who would like to share in our growing success.
We are a non-profit corporation committed to performing high-quality concert bandliterature well, and to have fun while we are doing it. Our four formal concerts each year arepresented to enthusiastic audiences, primarily at the Fairfield Center for Creative Arts. Solano Windshas a loyal group of followers, and our concerts typically are performed for crowds at or near thefacility capacity of 365. We also precede each of these concerts with a free performance at ParadiseValley Estates before an audience of 150-200 people.
Our recent success, coupled with the changing nature of public funding for arts groups, hasled us to create new opportunities for the business community to become involved with ourorganization.
First, we are pleased to announce that for the first time in our group's history we will be
accepting advertising in our concert programs. We endeavor to make our programs very informative
for our listeners, with extensive program notes and performer biographies. Samples of recent
programs can be found on our website at www.solanowinds.org/programnotes. The programs are
also distributed to each of our 55-60 performers for each concert, making the total distribution about
575-625. Our advertising rates are as follows:
Business Card 2.25" W x 1.2857" H $50
Quarter page 2.25" W x 3.75" H $100
Half page 4.5" W x 3.75" H $175
