Luggage
there is no limit to the amount of personal
luggage allowed on board the ship. however,
airlines have restrictions in the number of bags
allowed per person. please ensure that each
piece of luggage, both checked and carry-on,
has a designated Regent Seven Seas Cruises
luggage label firmly attached. Airlines normally
accept two pieces of luggage per person on
most international flights. Be sure to check
with your travel Agent or airline for restrictions.
the responsibility of Regent Seven Seas Cruises
for lost, damaged or misplaced luggage and
other personal property of guests is set forth
in the ticket contract. We cannot be held
responsible for unaccompanied luggage or other
personal items sent to the pier prior to a cruise,
left on board or on the pier after disembarkation.

Carry-On Luggage
We suggest that you hand carry your essentials
during embarkation of the ship. Keep important
items — including valuables, air and cruise
documents, passports, visas, medication,
traveler’s checks, photographic equipment,
and credit cards — with you. Furthermore,
we recommend that you keep a change of
clothes with you on international flights. please
note that all airlines require carry-on luggage
to fit either under the seat or in an overhead
storage compartment. Since airline policies are
periodically subject to change, contact the airline
directly regarding the specific policies that apply
to your flight itinerary.
Customs Regulations
Regent Seven Seas Cruises recommends that you
register any foreign-manufactured items, such
as cameras, lenses, jewelry, watches, binoculars,
etc., with u.S. Customs prior to taking them out
of the country. Otherwise, you may be required
to supply proof of purchase or pay duty on
these items upon returning to the u.S. the
u.S. Customs service publishes “Know Before
You Go,” a travel booklet outlining current u.S.
Customs regulations. this booklet is available free
of charge by writing to the u.S. Customs Service,

Luggage delivery Services
Our partnership with Luggage Free can help you
make the necessary arrangements to ship, door-
to-door, any luggage or equipment you may want
with you, without the bother of taking it yourself.

Luggage�Tips
• Always have personal identification tags on your luggage, with your name, address, and phone number printed clearly.
• Many sets of luggage look very similar in color and style. Mark your luggage with large, colorful name tags so that you can easily identify your luggage in the airport or at the cruise terminal. Also, keep an itemized list of luggage contents and their values.
• Customs officials, airline personnel or transportation officials in various countries may inspect unaccompanied luggage.
• When sending unaccompanied luggage to or from the u.S., do not send valuables (money, jewelry, important papers, etc.) hazardous
materials (many items such as aerosol cans, polish remover, and perfume are considered hazardous), weapons, liquor, materials that should not go through an X-ray machine or dutiable items purchased outside the u.S.
Money & Credit Cards
the currency on board is the u.S. dollar, and you
may exchange dollars for small denominations of
u.S. dollars at the Reception desk.
to enable you to make cash-less transactions
on Seven Seas Mariner, we will set up a shipboard
account for you upon embarkation. All you
will be required to do is sign for such items as
gifts, Regent Choice shore excursions, select
premium liquors, etc. the night prior to your
final disembarkation from the ship, a detailed

statement of your shipboard charges will be
delivered to your suite. We accept credit cards
(American express, MasterCard, Visa and
discover Card), traveler’s checks and cash.
Required documents
every port of call has separate requirements
for health certificates, proof of citizenship, valid

What to pack
the dress code on board ranges from casual to
formal. Casual wear is appropriate for daytime
on board and ashore, and consists of resort-style
outfits. Casual wear, including t-shirts, shorts or
jeans, is not considered appropriate in any public
area after 6 p.m. evening attire can be elegant
casual or Formal and semi-formal attire at your
option. elegant casual attire includes skirts or
slacks with a blouse or sweater for ladies; slacks
and collared shirts for gentlemen and jackets
are optional. Formal and semi-formal attire (only
applies on cruises of 16 nights or more) includes
gowns, dresses and cocktail dresses for ladies;
tuxedos, dinner jacket or dark suit with a tie for

Other�Useful�Items
in addition to your camera, a good pair of
binoculars can enhance the pleasure of virtually
any excursion. in addition, a lightweight backpack
might be useful. in case of loss or damage,
those who wear glasses or contact lenses should
bring an extra pair. Regardless of the climate,
don’t forget your sunglasses and plenty of your
favorite sunscreen. it can be helpful to carry an
assortment of basic remedies to combat simple
illnesses like travel sickness, upset stomach, colds
and headaches. You will also want to bring an
adequate supply of any prescribed medicine that
you require, and carry it in your hand luggage.

Airline Arrangements
please review your air and cruise documents to
ensure that your tickets are correct. You should
call the airline 24 hours prior to your departure
time to reconfirm your flight — international
flights and departure times may change without
prior notice.
Luggage
the FAA requires that all checked luggage be
identified with your name, address and phone
number. We have provided a number of grey
Regent Seven Seas Cruises identification tags if
you would like to use these on your luggage. You
must also complete and attach the color-coded
paper Regent Seven Seas Cruises luggage labels
to each piece of luggage to assist us in delivering

your luggage to your suite upon embarkation.
please make sure that your luggage is checked
all the way through to your final air destination
to help ensure problem-free handling of your
luggage both ashore and on board.
Boarding id/Key Card
At the onset of your cruise, you will receive a
boarding id/key card that you must take with
you each time you go ashore. this pass is proof
that you are a guest on Seven Seas Mariner. please
show this identification at the gangway each time
you go ashore and return to the ship.
Guest disembarkation
Complete disembarkation procedures will be
outlined on board the vessel prior to arrival at the
ship’s final destination. if planning independent
transfers from the ship, please keep in mind
it could take up to two hours for the local
authorities to clear the ship and allow guests
to disembark.
Guest embarkation
With your cruise documents, you will receive
information regarding the boarding time for
your cruise. in order for the ship to be ready
for arriving guests, we ask that our embarking
guests not present themselves on board before
the designated time. Guests making independent
travel arrangements should be at the ship for
embarkation no later than two hours prior to
the ship’s sailing time.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers a FRee
Luxury hotel package and post-cruise hotel
programs featuring some of the world’s finest
accommodations. please consult our brochures

Regent Seven Seas Cruises hotel programs, all
transfers to and from the ship/hotel are included.
passports
passports are collected upon embarkation, and
held safely by the purser, who will take care of
all procedures required by the local authorities
on your behalf. passports will be returned to
you either during or at the end of your cruise,
dependant on the ship’s itinerary and local
immigration requirements. passport distribution
times will be advised to you the day prior
and you may pick-up your passport at the
Reception desk.
Ground transfers
All guests who take advantage of Regent Seven
Seas Cruises FRee Roundtrip Air program will
be provided with transfer service between the
airport and pier on the days of embarkation and
disembarkation. upon arrival, a representative
will meet you in either the luggage claim area or
outside the Customs area, depending on local
regulations. After clearing your luggage, you will
be transferred to the pier. Guests participating
in our pre- or post-cruise hotel programs will be
provided transfers to and from the hotel.

international airlines require you to confirm
your return flight as much as 72 hours before
departure. Otherwise, your reservation may
be cancelled under certain circumstances.

Should you forget to pack any essentials, each
bathroom is supplied with luxury beauty products
including L’Occitane® soaps, shampoos and
lotions. Luxurious bathrobes and cotton slippers
are also provided in each suite and a wide variety
of sundries are available in the Boutique once the
ship sets sail.
Announcements
All suites receive announcements via the ship’s
public address system. these are kept to a
minimum to avoid needlessly disturbing our
guests. Announcements are also broadcast
through the television system.

An onboard art gallery exhibits international
artworks for guests to enjoy. A professional
Art director is on hand to talk about the artwork
and to conduct auctions on board.

use of the Fitness Center and our relaxing sauna
and steam room is always complimentary. While
you’re here, explore our extraordinary selection
of luxurious beauty treatments, massages, hair

Boutique
Our international duty-free boutique is located on
deck 6 & 7 and contains a fine selection of men’s
and women’s clothing, jewelry, and gifts from all
over the world. photo supplies, sundry items and
personal travel necessities are also sold. due to
customs regulations, duty-free shops onboard
cannot remain open while the ship is in port.
Bridge tournaments & instruction
On select voyages, bridge tournaments can
be arranged upon request through the Bridge
instructor, and are usually held in the Card
and Conference Rooms.

Card & Conference Rooms
the Card and Conference Rooms can be
used for everything from bridge lectures and
tournaments to corporate meetings, and may
even be combined by removing the dividing
door. inside, standard telecommunications
equipment is available.
Casino
the Casino, located on deck 7, is open every
day at sea when not restricted by territorial
border limits. Blackjack, roulette, three card
poker, mini-craps and slot machines are offered
for our guests’ enjoyment. hours will be listed in
the ship’s daily program.
Children/Youth program
We will do everything to ensure that our
younger guests also have an unforgettable
experience aboard our ship. For adults who
would like their children or grandchildren to
join them, our Club Mariner youth program is
designed for three age groups, 5–8, 9–12 and
13–17, and is supervised by our specially trained
Club Mariner youth counselors. Our Club Mariner
program has many activities especially designed
for each age group, such as: games, craft
projects, movies and “food fun” to make
sure each child has a memorable experience.

two types of dress code have been established
for evenings in public areas: Elegant�casual,
and Formal�and�semi-formal�at�your�option.
the number of Formal optional nights per cruise
is dependent upon the length of the cruise,
as follows:
• Cruises of fifteen nights or less will be elegant casual for the duration
• Cruises of sixteen nights or more will have two Formal and semi-formal optional nights
Elegant�casual:�Skirt, or slacks (no jeans) with a
blouse or sweater, pant suit or dress for ladies;

the ship is equipped with a state-of-the-art
satellite communication system. each suite
contains a direct-dial telephone. direct-dial
satellite calls can be made from your suite and
will be charged to the major credit card on
your onboard account. e-mail is available from
the computers in the staffed internet café at
Club.com and via Wireless access throughout
the ship. Guests may send e-mails or browse the
internet for a nominal fee. Charges for maritime
satellite communications are significantly more
than land systems.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises, in association with
Wireless Maritime Service (WMS), offers an
advanced roaming network on board selected
areas of the ship, allowing you to make and
receive calls while at sea using your own mobile
phone. You must have service with one of the
220 carriers worldwide that have a roaming
agreement with WMS. Not all prepaid phones
are currently supported. For more information,
please contact your service provider.

Our onboard destination Services desk is
staffed by a knowledgeable team that has
access to a wealth of information and insight
to the ports we visit.
dining Options
You have four dining options including the iconic
steakhouse prime 7, plus haute French cuisine
at Signatures, Continental dining at Compass
Rose, casual indoor and outdoor dining at La
Veranda and our new tuscan-inspired evening
restaurant Sette Mari at La Veranda. You may
make reservations to dine at Signatures and
prime 7, featuring a traditional steakhouse.
Bouillon is offered mid-morning, and afternoon
tea and coffee are served in the horizon Lounge.
if you prefer to dine in-suite, you may order
selections from the chef’s Compass Rose nightly
menu during regular dining hours, while the room
service menu is available 24 hours a day.

disabled Guests
Guests requiring special consideration onboard
due to physical disabilities are requested to
inform us while booking. in the interests of all
our guests, we cannot embark anyone who has
not informed us about these needs in advance.
it is necessary for all disabled guests to travel
with a partner who will provide all support and
assistance required. due to the weather, natural
terrain and modes of transportation involved,
guests who utilize a wheelchair might not be able
to participate in certain excursions. Wheelchair-
accessible suites are available, and Regent
Seven Seas Cruises is happy to provide further
information regarding passengers with special
needs upon request.
electrical Outlets/Appliances
All suites are equipped with three 110v outlets
and two 220v outlets. For guests’ added
convenience, a hair dryer is supplied in each suite.
We recommend that guests bring an adapter
plug for other small appliances. For safety
reasons, travel irons are not permitted onboard.
elevators
Seven Seas Mariner has two elevators located aft,
and three panoramic elevators located forward.
entertainment Onboard
the entertainment program aboard is filled with
a wide array of exciting diversions for all to
enjoy. the Constellation theater is home to live,
spectacular performances. if you’re in the mood

to gamble, you can visit our elegantly appointed
Casino. You can also relax in the Mariner Lounge
for a pre-dinner cocktail, enjoy a cigar in the
Connoisseur Club or dance the night away in the
stunning horizon Lounge. On beautiful, moonlit
nights, don’t miss the opportunity to hear the
sounds of a piano, guitar or cabaret artist as you
search in the Observation Lounge.

Fitness Facilities
Whether you are an avid fitness buff or just
beginning a new exercise regimen, you will
find plenty of reasons to stay in great shape in
our Fitness Center operated by Canyon Ranch
SpaClub®. Fitness equipment includes lifecycles,
free weights, striders, stairmasters, treadmills,
weight benches, a Life Fitness machine, workout
mats and step benches. in addition to the
Fitness Center and Aerobic Studio, you will
also have access to a wide array of sporting
facilities, including table and paddle tennis,
shuffleboard, croquet and bocce court, golf
cage, ocean view putting green, a jogging track,
outdoor swimming pool, and three whirlpools.
Going Ashore
Once local authorities have cleared the ship, you
are free to disembark. Whenever you leave the
ship, please carry your boarding id/key card and
your passport when it is required from the local
authorities with you, as this identification will
ensure that you will get back on board quickly
and easily.
Gratuities
All shipboard gratuities for Regent Seven Seas
Cruises employees are included in your cruise
fare. tips for spa services are included in your
service charge.

heating & Air-Conditioning
Although the ship maintains a comfortable
temperature at all times, each suite has its
own individually controlled thermostat for air-
conditioning and heating. please contact your
stewardess if you have any questions.
in-Suite dining Services
An in-suite breakfast may be ordered by
completing the printed menu card and placing
it outside your door on the evening prior to
service. You may also dial room service to order
from the Compass Rose Restaurant menu during
normal dining hours. A room service menu is also
available 24 hours a day.
Laundry, dry Cleaning & Valet Service
Onboard laundry and valet services, including
pressing and dry-cleaning, are available and may
be arranged through your stewardess. Self-service
launderettes with washers, dryers and ironing
boards are also available on decks 8-10.
Lecture program
Most cruises aboard Seven Seas Mariner include
lectures by noted guest experts who provide
insights and perspectives far beyond what you
would read in the average guidebook. Many
of our speakers have first-hand knowledge of
these locales, and some come from the foreign

service and leading universities, or perhaps from
the world of the arts or journalism. they present
informal talks or slide shows about the people,
culture, history, flora and fauna of the unique
places you will be visiting.
Library
the library is well-stocked with a comprehensive
selection of current fiction and non-fiction books
and maps, including informative works about the
regions you will visit on your cruise. the library
also contains an assortment of board games.
Liquor
Onboard beverages are complimentary including
in our open bars and lounges. plus in-suite full-
liquor bar set-up and mini-bar replenished daily
with complimentary soft drinks, beer and bottled
water. Guests may contact their stewardess or
Butler for any in-suite beverage needs. Guests
must be at least 21 years of age to be served
alcoholic beverages.
Medical Services
the medical center is designed to provide
medical care for certain temporary illnesses and
accidents. these facilities are not intended or
capable of providing ongoing treatment of pre-
existing medical conditions. Any such special
requirement or need for health services aboard
ship must be cleared in writing with Regent
Seven Seas Cruises before final booking(s)
will be accepted. the ship’s licensed and
registered doctor and nurse are on 24-hour
call for professional and emergency services,

oxygen concentrator is the only form of oxygen
equipment allowed aboard ship and must be

suite to keep you abreast of important and timely
world news while aboard the ship. Newspapers
from around the world are also available for
purchase. the ship’s library also carries weekly
news magazines and periodicals, when available.
Cable news service is offered on in-suite
interactive flat screen television.

pets and animals are not permitted on board
Seven Seas Mariner.
postal Services
postcards and letters can be dropped off at the
Reception desk, and will be delivered to the
postal service at the next port of call. For your
convenience, applicable postage fees will be
added to your shipboard account.
purser/Reception desk
the purser staff can be contacted at the
Reception desk. the purser staff presents both
the ship’s and our guests’ documentation to the
local authorities. the Reception desk can also
change traveler’s checks for you, and accepts

payment of your shipboard account at the end
of the cruise. the Reception desk is located on
deck 5, and is open 24 hours a day to answer
your questions and provide general assistance.
Restaurant And Seating Requests
evening meals aboard Seven Seas Mariner are
served in four main restaurants. Compass Rose
and Sette Mari at La Veranda restaurants require
no reservations and can accommodate larger
groups. Signatures and prime 7 restaurants do
require reservations. please speak with the Maître d’
if you desire special seating arrangements, and
he will do his best to satisfy your wishes.
Safety At Sea
this vessel fully complies with all national and
international regulations in respect to safety at
sea. Furthermore, it is in compliance with the
international Convention of Safety of Life at Sea
(SOLAS). international Maritime Organization and
the international Convention for the prevention
of pollution from Ships (MARpOL).
General�Emergency�Drill:�in compliance with
international Maritime Law, all guests must
attend and participate in a mandatory General
emergency drill. the purpose of this drill is to
familiarize our guests with the routine safety
procedures on the ship, such as life jacket use,
as well as muster stations and lifeboat locations.
the date and time of the General emergency drill
will be included in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises
passages. Regent Seven Seas Cruises passenger
Safety Briefing policy exceeds the requirements of
Purser/Reception desk continued

SOLAS by mandating the completion of this drill
prior to departure from your embarkation port.
the General emergency drill will commence with
the emergency Signal, which is seven short blasts,
followed by one long blast from the ship’s whistle,
and ringing of the ship’s alarm bells. if Guests are
not already in their suites, they are required to
proceed to their suite, bring their Life Jackets,
and follow the instructions given over the public
Address system as well as those in the evacuation
plan on the back of the suite door. Crew members
will be stationed in the corridors and stairwells
to guide you to the Assembly /Muster Station.
during the General emergency drill, all ship
services will be closed, as all Staff members must
attend this very important exercise. the Beauty
Salon and Canyon Ranch SpaClub® will not accept
appointments during the drill.

Complimentary overnight shoe shine service is
available. please contact your Stewardess or
Butler for this service.
Shore excursions
Carefully planned excursions are available
for each port of call on your cruise and are
detailed in a separate brochure and online at
www.RSSC.com. tours with limited availability will
be confirmed strictly in the order the requests are
received. the destination Services representative
on board the ship will also be happy to assist
with private arrangements, subject to availability.
please remember that most excursions are
included in the basic cruise fare, and are
dependent upon local conditions. the safety
of the ship, especially its guests and crew,
will remain our top priority. please follow the
instructions and advice of the staff during all shore
excursions, and observe the previously mentioned
guidelines regarding environmental protection.
Smoking
For the safety of all guests and staff onboard,
designated Smoking Areas are available at:
Connoisseur Club, and in designated areas
of the pool Bar and horizon Lounge (outside
area only). Cigar smoking is permitted in the
designated Smoking Area of the pool Bar, and
within the Connoisseur Club, while pipe smoking
is only permitted within the Connoisseur Club. All
areas other than those specified as designated
Smoking Areas will remain smoke-free. this
includes all guest suites and balconies.

Safety�Notice: it is imperative that cigarettes
and cigars be fully extinguished and placed in the
appropriate receptacles in designated smoking
areas located throughout the ship. please do not
throw lit cigarettes or cigars over the side of the
ship, as the wind could draw them back inside
the ship and cause fire.
Special dietary Requirements
if you require a special diet, or if you need to
have special food items available aboard the
ship, please notify the Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Reservations department at least 100 days prior
to your sailing date. this is particularly important
if specially-purchased food items are required.
After boarding, please contact the Maître d’ to
discuss your requirements.
Stabilizers
Seven Seas Mariner is equipped with an ultra-
modern stabilizing system. the stabilizers
utilized on today’s ships are the result of many
years of research and trials. Mounted on each
side of the hull, they can be extended and
retracted to help absorb the rolling motion
of the ship in rough seas.
Swimming pool
the pool deck, located mid-ship on deck 11,
includes an inviting outdoor swimming pool
and three whirlpools.

For your viewing and listening pleasure, each
suite is equipped with an interactive flat screen
television with extensive media library and
complimentary movies-on-demand.
Valuables
each suite is furnished with an electronic safe
located inside the walk-in closet. Regent Seven
Seas Cruises is not responsible for any personal
articles, including money, jewelry, cameras,
binoculars, documents, or any other items you
personally retain in your suite.
Visitors Onboard
Circumstances permitting, you are welcome
to have visitors aboard. Visitors may not be
permitted on board at some ports for security
reasons. Visitor requests can be submitted in
writing to Regent Seven Seas Cruises 30 days
prior to sailing. please consult the Reception
desk at least 72 hours in advance to determine
if restrictions will apply. Visitor passes must be
obtained through the executive Concierge. there
is a nominal charge for visitors to dine onboard
and it should be arranged in advance with the
executive Concierge.
Wake-up Service
Wake-up service is provided to all guests
upon request. please ask your stewardess for
instructions or refer to the directory located in
your suite.
