Site Listing Report and Site Descriptions

The following instructions will walk you through how to search, organize, review, and explore the University of Iowa list of sites/partners for your experiential education. 1. Select the Reports tab 2. Select the Site List report ADD FIELDS/ITEMS TO THE REPORT

3. Fill out the form:

The report output includes custom fields (e.g. Housing) and standard fields (e.g. Contact information). To add items to your report, select items from the list of Available Fields on the left and click on the green “Plus (+)” button to add items to the Selected Fields list on the right. Click on the red “Minus (-)” button to remove items from the Selected Fields list. Format Option:

We recommend HTML so you may sort/filter the list in eValue and have access to the Site Information screen.

Next:

Click on the next button once you’ve added fields to your report.

FILTER THE REPORT 4. To filter the report, type the word you would like to search/filter in any of

the open input textboxes (e.g. in the example, we typed in “pediatric” in the Linked Courses/Rotations column to filter for all sites that offer a pediatric course/rotation experience).

5. Click on the Filter button to filter the report based on step 4.

SORT THE REPORT

6. To sort the report, click on the Up/Down Arrow buttons next to each of the item/fields/column headings (e.g. Housing Available?)

MORE INFORMATION

7. Any field that has an ellipses (…), indicates additional information. Click on the (…) to reveal the hidden information.

8. Click on the Site Name/Link to review the Site Information screen.

The Site Description includes information such as site location, primary contact, pre-rotation requirements, linked preceptors, and courses, rotation documents, onsite instructions, 1st day reporting, - all of the fields you could have selected in step 3 when filling out the form.
