Deep Pleat
Mini Pleat
Details of Gasket Joints
ASPA - make HEPA filters are available in the standard sizes for deep pleat version. Non-Standard sizes can also be manufactured as per customer’s requirements. The filter can be assembled with/ without flanges. Available in casing thickness of 1.5 mm in variants of Aluminium / Stainless Steel. Anodizing is the standard surface finish offered for Aluminium casings. Filtration media is submicronic micro glass paper, which is fire retardant HEPA filter media manufactured by M/s.Lydall Inc, USA. Aluminium separators made from 36 swg. aluminium foil are used in the case of deep pleat version. High impact polystyrene separators are used in the case of mini pleat version. Flanges are fixed with synthetic soft rubber gaskets. Deep pleat filters have a initial pressure drop of 22 - 25 mm WC Mini pleat filters have a initial pressure drop of 15-18 mm WC These filters have efficiency of 0.3 microns. All filters are particle counted and DOP leak tested. Each filter is accompanied by a test certificate.
“ASPA” – make BAG FILTERS
• Available in casing thickness of 1.5 mm in variants of Mild steel / Galvanized steel /Aluminium/Stainless steel with a surface finish of enamel paint / anodisation or powder coated finish • Media consists of Non-Woven Polyester fabric chemically bonded with a layer of High density polyethylene (HDPE) mesh for support on the exit side resulting in a mechanically strong media. • Bags are intra stitched to prevent bag ballooning. • Stitch holes are sealed using synthetic sealants. • Bags are sealed with frame using synthetic sealants. • Initial pressure drop of 8 mm WC. • Filtration efficiency available is from 20 micron to 3 microns.
ASPA - make bag filters are available in any size as per customer requirements, depending upon the air volume required to be handled. The pockets of Bag filters can handle high air volume in less area. The filters can be fabricated with/without flange as per customer's choice.
“ASPA” – make ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS How activated carbon is made? Most active carbon, as used for gas or vapor trapping, is made from coconut shell. The shells are heated to over 2,000°C under high pressure, which causes fissures on the surface of the carbon, creating a high quality, small pore activated carbon. The fissure system is extensive, creating a very large surface area in a small package, and it is in these fissures that other gases and particles are trapped. A single activated carbon filter has a flattened surface area of a football field and can absorb up to 60% of their own weight in gases! How does activated carbon remove odors? Activated Carbon has the ability to capture gas molecules and hold them. The accumulation of molecules of a gas to form a thin film on the surface of a solid is called adsorbtion. The carbon surface is made up of millions of tiny pores, the gas and odors fall into these pores and are trapped there until the pad is recharged or disposed. Other methods to get rid of odors such as sprays & deodorants, only fool you sense of smell - the odors still exist. Activated carbon air filters are the most effective type of filter against chemicals, gases, cigarette smoke and other odors. (list mentioned) Activated carbon air filters consist of a vast system of pores of molecular size. These pores are highly adsorbent, forming a strong chemical bond or attraction to odorous, gaseous, and liquid contaminates. Activated Carbon Filtration is commonly used in water and air purification. HVAC applications, which require the removal of odors include air filtration and air purification in medical, pharmaceutical, electronics, semiconductor, hospital, and oil-free environments.
