Monday was the first day of Key Club Week fea-
tured the theme of “Show Your K In Every Way.”
Key Clubbers wore their T Shirts to school to help
promote Key Club. There was a vast variety among
the shirts—from the NJ District “Jersey Fresh” T-shirts
to the Division 1b crew necks to the EHTHS Key
Club’s “Key Cub” T-shirt and many more. Key Club-
bers also redecorated the bulletin board. Tuesday was the second day of Key Club Week
and featured the theme of “Kudos to the Key
Players. Since There was no general meeting
scheduled throughout the week, there was an
brief OCC (Officer Committee Chair) awards
ceremony where some of the officers and com-
mittee chairs were honored for their hard work
and dedication and received certificates.
Wednesday was the third day of Key Club Week and featured the theme
of “Connect the K’s.” This day was meant to strengthen the connections
throughout the K-Family. Because it so happened that election day was
near, the Kiwanians were too busy with voting thus the planned dinner
was postponed and rescheduled for a future date.
Thursday was the fourth day
of Key Club Week and fea-
tured the theme of “Bring a
Friend to Key Club.” This also
happened to be the day
right before the forms for the
EHTHS Key Club Induction
Dinner was due. A mass noti-
fication was sent to all the
members to encourage invit-
ing friends and family to the
dinner (which is open
through invitation) to watch
new members be inducted
into the club, to learn more
about MNT (maternal and
neonatal tetanus) and to
learn more about Key Club.
Friday was the last day of
the week and featured the
theme of “Do it Your Way.”
All the Key Clubbers did
something different to
show Key Club pride!
Key Club Week is an annual event that takes place throughout a week in fall. This year’s
Key Club week landed on November 5-9. The week was meant to help spread the word
about Key Club and to show some Key Club pride. It’s to add pep to service and to let the
world know what Key Club is about. Even though the previous week New Jersey was hit with
a devastating Hurricane Sandy, the EHTHS Key Club was still able to participate in the event!
