Call to Confession Unison Prayer of Confession O Lord, you have given us dominion over the works of your hands,
and we have not been faithful caretakers. You have shown us love,
and we have turned it into hate and indifference. You have invited
us into relationship with you and each other, and we have turned
away. Help us turn around again. Help us rejoin the heavenly chorus
singing the majesty of your name. Forgive us, we pray, for not
being who you created us to be. O Lord, hear our prayer...

Get to Know Your Elders! For the next 5 weeks, each of our elected elders of consistory
will be leading worship. TODAY’S ELDER: Chantal Figueroa
Chantal was born and raised in St. Thomas. Her elementary school days were spent at Joseph Sibilly School before heading to All Saints Cathedral
School, from which she graduated. From there she attended the University of Miami, Florida Southern College and New York University,
where she earned her Masters of Science in Tourism Administration.
Most of Chantal's professional career has been lived in one aspect of the hospitality industry or another. She has worked in hotels, restaurants and
for many years at the USVI Department of Tourism. She now owns her own travel agency and spends her time planning travel experiences for
others. She is a firm believer that everyone should travel! It broadens the mind, helps with one's personal growth and gives us each a different perspective on life. Her love of travel was definitely sparked by her
grandmother, Doris Comissiong, an avid traveler. Chantal, her sister Tess, and their many cousins, looked forward to receiving postcards from their grandparents while they were off on their many adventures. “D” and her
husband Albert would come home from their trips with awesome stories to share with their grandchildren!
The St Thomas Reformed Church has been a part of her life since her
baptism. It was here that she attended Sunday School, was confirmed, and married Ivan Figueroa. She has since seen
their three children, Nicholas, Nalani and Natalia baptized in the sanctuary, attend Sunday school and take part in the wonderful XYG program. For
many years she has been a Sunday School teacher, which she has found to be a very fulfilling experience. She has loved the time spent with
each of her 3rd and 4th graders!

A Note from Chanelle...
As most of you know, my father passed away suddenly a few weeks ago.
I wanted to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for your
concern, kindness, prayers and encouragement during this difficult time.
Special thanks to all who've sent flowers, donations and cards;
your outpouring of love and support means more than words can say.
I ask for - and need - your continued prayers for my family as we move
through this time of grief and loss.
May God bless you as richly as you've blessed us.

That say I'm not enough Ev'ry single lie that tells me
I will never measure up Am I more than just the sum of
Ev'ry high and ev'ry low Remind me once again just who I am
Because I need to know You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short And when I don't belong oh You say I am Yours
And I believe what You say of me The only thing that matters now
Is ev'rything You think of me In You I find my worth
In You I find my identity Taking all I have and now I'm laying it at Your feet
You'll have ev'ry failure God You'll have ev'ry victory

May God watch over your soul, guiding every step along your way May you hold deep in your heart the love God is giving you every day
May the light of heaven above reflect in your eyes So you see all the wonder in the world
May you live all the days of your lives secure in the arms of the one above May God look upon you with favor, granting you whatever you're dreaming of
May the mountains offer a path when you stroll along Fill the valleys so you can cross with ease
