Project Overview

This week, second graders will meet with the 5th graders to choose the present community leaders to portray in the video.

Filming will take place at Columbus East High School on October 28th and October 31st . Students will find out their role in the video on October 24th .

1. Open your reading text to page 113 and discuss the Talk About It Question “Why do you think many people move to America?”

2. Then read, “My New Home” to learn your new vocabulary words on pages 114 and 115.

leader for the 5th graders to check.2. Be sure you PowerPoint includes details about how

your leader shows leadership in our community and why they should be included in the video for Camp Atterbury on Veteran’s Day.

3. Be sure you PowerPoint has complete sentences, correct grammar, details, color, and pictures!

4. Your presentation is on Wednesday to the 5th Graders!
