Technical Features
STAUFF Marine & Offshore
STAUFF M&O piping systems use highly reliable mechanicalsystems which completely eliminates all contamination oftypically welded piping, welded particles, welding spatlerand other foreign materials. Such pitfalls will be no longer aconcern with STAUFF M&O piping systems.
STAUFF M&O cleaning / flushing process not only removesloose contaminants but shines the system fluid at the sametime by the combination of a strong shop flushing facilityand clean gun system, Non-welding field installation therebyreducing the need for costly internal chemical flushing.
STAUFF M&O piping systems employ a cold drawn techniqueduring the manufacturing process, resulting in internally andexternally free of scale.
STAUFF M&O standard surface conditioning procedure prevents rust, thus maintaining pipe cleanliness during storage and installation
MaterialIt is essential for high pressure hydraulic applications to usethe finest and most robust parts. STAUFF M&O prides itself in how its piping mechanical joint components are produced, guaranteeing that only the highest grade of steelis used ensuring that the finished piping can withstand theheaviest of shocks and external forces which piping systemsface.
STAUFF M&O takes goes through great lengths to ensurethat its mechanical joints are produced with only the besthydraulic hoses and couplings often surpassing SAE flangestandards. In addition, our highly trained professionals manufacture hose assemblies that are more than reliable, giving peace of mind. Knowing that mechanical joints areproduced in such a manner, our customers can rest assuredthat they will receive high quality components that they candepend on.
Quality control is important to STAUFF M&O. This can be seen by the close contact that our engineers and customers have with each otherthroughout the manufacturing and installationprocess. Such cooperation between both partiesensures that the final result of each project will beof the utmost highest quality. STAUFF M&O engineers use the most modern Auto CAD software available ensuring that our pipes can bemanufactured at the design stage, improving theinstallation process even more.

STAUFF Retain Ring Grooving System
STAUFF Marine & Offshore
This Retain Ring System of STAUFF M&O, can be used undervery high pressures. In this configuration, it uses heavy wallpipes having a machined surface, along with an annulargroove in the outer diameter. After preparation, the flangeis fitted onto the pipe, and a retain ring is installed. The joint-ing is completed by bolting two flanges with inserted o-ringsbetween them.
STAUFF M&O is proud of its Retain Ring System that is utilizedfor pipes with pressure limits between 350 and 420 bar. Inspecial circumstances, the retain ring system can even beused with pressures as high as 690 bar.
STAUFF M&O retain rings undergo exhaustive testing to en-sure that they will stand up to the rigors of various pressuresand under a wide range of materials from mild and stainlesssteel to duplex and titanium materials that are elongatedabove 20%.

STAUFF - 37° Flare Flange System
STAUFF Marine & Offshore
This 37° Flare Flange System of STAUFF M&O can be usedunder medium to high pressures. The configuration of the joints is based upon a pipe that isflared to 37 degrees and has either an o-ring faced cone or aflat faced cone flared to the pipe. The joining is simply completed by bolting two flanges together that were slid onto the pipe before flaring.
STAUFF M&O 37° Flare Flange System is suitable for pipingsystems with an upper pressure limit of 420 bar. This type ofFlare Flange has an optimum pressure range between 210to 350 bar. This Flare Flange is also adaptable to low pressure pipingsystems (≤50 bar) for pipe sizes from 20 to 273mm.
The 37° Flare Flange has been extensively tested, especiallyagainst strict vibrations. Its joining method is appropriate for high pressure piping systems that consist of multiple materials ranging from mild steel to tungum.

STAUFF - 90° Flare Flange System
STAUFF Marine & Offshore
This STAUFF’s 90° Flare Flange System can be applied to lowpressures. The mechanical joint configuration is based on flaring thepipe ends to 90 degrees and inserting gasket. Various gasketmaterial is available depending on the type of fluids andtheir temperatures inside the piping system.
STAUFF M&O 90° flare flange system is being used for theclass Ⅲ piping requiring the upper limit of the pressure at 16bar. The 90° Flare Flange Jointing technique is suitable forpiping systems made of various materials ranging from mildsteel to super duplex for low pressures.
The 90° Flare Flange Jointing technique has been tested extensively and results have shown that it is appropriate for low pressure piping in mild steel, stainless steel, copper-nickel and titanium. In addition, 90° flare flange systems can be used on pipe diameters of up to 608 mm forlow pressure piping systems (10 ~ 40 bar).

STAUFFORM System
STAUFF Marine & Offshore
The STAUFFORM Tube Forming System is undoubtedly thebest solution for series procedures with highest require-ments with regards to safety, reliability and repeatability aswell as process stability.
The entire system consists of only three components: Theformed tube end, the STAUFFORM Ring with its integratedsealing and the standard union nut.
After the end of the tube, which can be made of Steel, Stainless Steel or any other commonly used material, hasbeen automatically brought into the right shape using thecold tube-end forming process of the electronically con-trolled STAUFFORM Tube Forming Machine, the standardizedSTAUFFORM Ring, which has an integrated soft sealing in theprimary section of the connection, is applied to the tube end.
The optimized design of the formed tube end and theSTAUFFORM Ring result in a uniform distribution of force anda large contact area for the union nut. The additional softsealing, which is integrated in the STAUFFORM Ring, compensates settling due to mechanical loads, seals off theonly possible leakage path of the connection and guaranteesmaximum leak tightness, even under high dynamic loads.
