I love my fluffy teddy. But Baby wants him, too. “SHARE,”
says Mommy.
Learning to share your favorite things with a new sibling is so

that sharing isn’t all bad, and that she and her brother can
share the best things of all: mommy, hugs, and love.
Anthea Simmons studied at St. Hugh’s College, Oxford.
Following a high-flying career in the city, she now lives in
Devon where, as well as writing poetry and children’s stories,

Scales of the Wyrm Treasury
--------Drawn from the darkest corners of Europe, this collection of dragon scales is the pride of the Wyrm Treasury in
Krakow, Poland. Legend holds that the scales will burst into flame should they ever be used to devise evil spells against dragonkind. Scale samples of this size fall away from a dragon’s body throughout its long life, though strangely they are almost never seen. From the scorching heat of the Vulcanian Fire Dragon to the frosty touch of the Black Ice Dragon, all dragon scale samples preserve the original body temperature of their hosts.
Dragon Claws A Study of Talons
--------A dragon’s claws or talons must surely rank very high
among this creature’s great weapons. Indeed, writings from ages past tell of claws that could slice through the breastplate of a slayer’s armour as simply as an oar cuts the water of a lake.
Dragons typically have three or four talons on each hand or foot, though some water dragons have as many as five. Claws may also be found on the wing tips of some species. Tougher than diamonds, dragon claws are made of a material unseen in any other animal in the natural world. Fallen claws are highly prized by sorcerors and are ground down to a glittering powder for use in their spells.

Dagger-sharp WeaponsA dragon’s claws must be kept in prime condition at all times. Tree trunks and other rough surfaces may be used for sharpening, while broken claws are quick to heal. A dragon will retract its talons when moving on hard ground to prevent damage and to permit stealth – clattering claws must be avoided when creeping up on potential prey.
A dragon’s hands are both forceful and skilful. With a grip sufficient to crush bones, their fingers are also incredibly nimble.

The War of the WorldsH.G. Wells, illustrated by Scott McKowen, afterword by Arthur PoberWhat would happen if Martians landed on Earth—and none of our weapons could stop them? H.G. Wells’s classic novel imagines this frightening scenario. The horrifying bug-like extraterrestrials wipe out crowds with a single heat-ray, wreaking havoc across the English countryside. Narrated by an unnamed protagonist who flees home to seek out safe ground, this terrifying tale will rivet kids and adults alike.
Herbert George “H. G.” Wells (September 21, 1866-August 13, 1946) was an English author, best known for his work in the “speculative fiction” genre. He was also a prolific writer in many other genres, including contemporary novels, history, politics, and social commentary. Wells is sometimes called “The Father of Science Fiction,” along with Jules Verne. The War of the Worlds was written in the age of British colonialism, and Wells came up with the idea for the story while he and his brother were imagining what might happen if someone came to colonize England the way England had other countries.

fully excavated to reveal fragments of a boat and the remains of a
once-great Viking noble.
