Use Workspace Icons 1. Click To Do.

• The To Do section provides students with a list of the work that they need to practice and complete. In addition, this is the area where students can access past and present assessments.

− The name of the icon on the Student Workspace appears when you hover over it.

2. Click Home.

3. Click Words to Know.

• Words to Know gives your students access to key academic and domain vocabulary that are infused into all of the text that students will read during the week.

4. Click any of the Words to Know and get a definition and an example of how the word is used.

5. Click X to return back to the Student Workspace.

• Students can click the audio button to have each word’s pronunciation and definition read aloud.

6. Click Write.

• The Write section is where students can access online mini-lessons that are focused on a variety of facets of the writing process.

7. Click Home.

8. Click Games.

• The Games section provides students with a wide range of games that support foundational skills, vocabulary, and spelling.

9. Click X to return back to the Student Workspace.

10. Click Read.

• The Read section offers differentiated resources to each learner. Students can access all of their eBooks for a given week.

12. Click Adaptive Learning.

• If your students are enrolled in WonderWorks, they will have access to Adaptive Learning.

• Adaptive Learning offers an individualized learning pathway that builds foundational skills for students with active IEPs.

• These icons are also available on all pages in the program, at the bottom of the screen.

Use the Workspace Toolbar 1. Click My Binder.

• My Binder provides another way students can access their work and tests.

2. Click Collaborate.

• The Collaborate section provides a place where students and teachers can interact in a virtual environment. As a teacher, you can pose a specific question and allow students to create conversation around those questions.

3. Click Resources.

• The Resources section provides you with all of the resources you might need for instruction.

4. Click School to Home.

• The School to Home section provides you with the letter of the week that your students’ families and caregivers have received and word workouts, comprehension checks, and spelling lists.

5. Click Home.

• Other tools available include notes, the course glossary, and the program search.
