Summer Running – 300+ Mile Club
Things To Remember
1) Try to run with your teammates EVERYDAY. It's more fun to run in a group and that's why we have Captains' prac0ce. 2) Do your best to squeeze in 8 core exercises 3 5mes per week. Google "running core strength" and pick out your faves. 3) Hydrate, fuel, hydrate, fuel BEFORE and AFTER running! 4) Make sure to run comfortable to moderate for many of your summer miles. We're not tes"ng our limits quite yet. 5) Log your runs on Flotrackr (sign up and join the Edina Girls Cross Country group at www.flotrackr.org). 6) Have fun; enjoy yourself; celebrate success! 7) Cross Training Days (Make it count): Get that heart rate jumping by roller skiing, swimming laps, water running, using an ellip#cal machine, doing a spin class, sta1onary biking, or cycling outside.
