Click on the Opportunities link on PartnerNet
To enroll in the program, start at PartnerNet (https://partnernet.symantec.com). Log on with your personal username
and password, or have the primary user at your organization add you as a secondary user so you can gain access.
Once you’re in the system, click on the Opportunity Registration link.

Request Access to the PartnerLeads Opportunity Registration Tool
From the Opportunity Registration Program home page, click on the Register a new Opportunity now link
to initiate the system registration process. After 24 hours, you must return to the site and repeat this step.
(If you’re already signed up for PartnerLeads, the link will log you in automatically and allow you to register
your opportunity right away.)

New Partner Organization Registration
The first user at your company who requests access must complete a New Partner Organization Registration.
If you are the first user, you will automatically be presented with the registration form. Complete the form,
including your company information and details of the territories and products you are authorized to sell.
Symantec will review your registration form and notify you via email when your account has been activated.

Log In and Get Started at PartnerLeads
Once you have been notified that you and your company are eligible to participate in the Opportunity Registration
Program, log in to PartnerNet and click on the Opportunities link. You will be directed to the PartnerLeads home page.

Go to the Sales Center to Register Your Opportunity
At the PartnerLeads home page, click on the Sales tab. Then, under Opportunity Registration, click on
Register Opportunity. You’ll link directly to a form where you can enter all the details needed to register
your sales opportunity. Be sure to enter all the required fields.

Opportunity Registration Confirmation
Once you’ve submitted your opportunity, you can check the status of your opportunity by going to the
Registration Status page.

Checking Your Status
Go to the PartnerLeads home page, click on the Sales tab, and then on Registration Status. You’ll be able to
see if your opportunity registration is pending, approved, or rejected. If your opportunity has been approved,
the information will automatically be transferred to the My Opportunities view.

Working with Your Opportunities
From the PartnerLeads Sales Center, click on My Opportunities to perform a variety of actions. You can view
and edit your opportunities, provide feedback to Symantec, or forward your opportunity to another registered
user at your company.

Closing Out an Opportunity
Once you’ve successfully closed your sales opportunity, be sure to return to PartnerLeads to give Symantec the
required details. Click on the Feedback action button for that opportunity in My Opportunities and select Purchased.
Then enter all the necessary information in the feedback form.

Point-of-Sale (POS) Report
Once you complete the feedback form, a POS form will open automatically. Just fill in the details, and Symantec
will validate the sales closure.
