Team Around the Child: Shaping the future of Children & Young People
An approach first developed to provide integrated services to children under 5 with complex disabilities – generally through child development services – bringing together health visitors, paediatricians, social workers, SEN team administrators, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, psychologists, portage workers and speech and language therapists to meet the individual needs of children/young people and their family.

• Develop the Team Around the Child (TAC) as one of the approaches to be used to meet the statutory Every Child Matters requirements to integrate systems, processes and service delivery to improve outcomes for children and young people
• The integration of service delivery to be based on the needs, localities and communities governed by the three planning areas
