Passato prossimoIt is a past tense that reports on action or event
that was completed in the past.It consists of two words: the present tense of avere or essere (auxiliary
verbs) that conjugate according to the subject the past participle (participio passato) of the verbIt has several English equivalents:
I ateIo ho mangiato I did eat
I have eaten
Participio passato regolare- ARE - ATO PARLARE PARLATO
- ERE - UTO RICEVERE RICEVUTO
- IRE - ITO PARTIRE PARTITO
When avere is the auxiliary verb, the participio passato always ends in –o regardless of the subject of the verb

When essere is the auxiliary verb, the participio passato agrees in gender and number with the subject of the verb. It can have four endings: -o, –a, -i, -e. It behaves like an adjective that ends in –o in masculine singular, for example piccolo.

Correre, volare if there is no point of departure neither arrival stated:Io ho corso una maratona.Ho sempre volato con Alitalia.
Correre, volare if the point of departure or arrival is stated:Io sono corsa a lezione.Anche loro sono volati da Roma.
Passare if it has the meaning to spend:Ho passato una settimana al mare.
Passare if it has a meaning to stop by or to go by:Ieri siamo passati da te.
Vivere * if it takes a direct object:Lei ha vissuto una vita interessante.
Vivere* if it doesn’t take a direct object.Lei è vissuta a Roma per 10 anni.
