14. Always keep an eye on SPA address. It should be your com port no. Sometimes it becomes
zero or any other no.
15. You are done with the settings but always have a look on ATTRIBUTES in communication tab.
Relay name will be appearing the same as was selected in GENERAL tab. But just in case or if
some problem is coming in communication then have a look on it.

19. Click on ALL and then OK.
20. It should start reading settings from the relay. But IMPORTANT thing that don’t forget to
make relay CONFIGURATION>COMMUNICATION>SPA PORT>FRONT PORT. After some time
it will automatically go back to REAR PORT. So always check this setting before transferring
any thing to the relay or from the relay.
21. Now when the reading process is completed it means that no error should come during
reading. If it comes SOME SETTINGS WERE NOT READ then try reading again. When you are
done with reading a window like the one below will appear.

23. 2nd
tab is RECORDED DATA which is same as fault recorder.
24. 3rd
tab is SETTINGS. It is the main settings window. In which you can configure time delayed
and instantaneous O/C and E/F functions. When you click on SETTINGS you will find 5 more
tabs.

TESTING PROCEDURE:
27. Connect your freja current O/P to the relay Current I/P of any phase current coil. Lets say,
connect to RED phase coil of relay to O/P of freja. Inject current n check the pick up of the
relay for O/C.
28. Now inject in all other phases to check the pick up and similarly measure time.
29. Now connect your freja with neutral coil of the relay and inject current and check the pick up
of the relay for residual over current i.e. E/F and check its pick up and measure its time of
trip.
