Psalm 145.1-9
I will extol you, my God and
King, and bless your name
forever and ever.
Every day I will bless you and
praise your name forever and
ever.Great is the Lord, and greatly
to be praised, and his greatness
is unsearchable.
One generation shall commend your
works to another, and shall declareyour mighty acts.
On the glorious splendor of your
majesty, and on your wondrous
works, I will meditate.
They shall speak of your awesomedeeds, and I will declare your
greatness.
They pour forth the fame of your
righteousness.
The Lord is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and abounding insteadfast love. The Lord is good to
all, and his mercy is over all that he
Excited for Fall?Fall is an exciting time of year. As a student, it represents a new
start: crisp notebooks and shiny folders, a new pair of jeans andsneakers, a chance to make new friends and the hope of a better
lunch period. For the church, it represents the restart of many
beloved ministries. The desire for a fresh start is deeply rooted
in all of us. And in Christ the desire is fulfilled perfectly.
In Christ we receive new mercies every morning (Lam. 3:22-
23). We do not have to wait for a new season or a second
chance. We are new creations in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17) every
moment of every day.
Place your trust in the God who is always doing something
new. Breathe in the excitement of knowing you are part of His
plan.
