Help Wanted
We need volunteers for Husky Café (our daily, morning breakfast program) on Thursday mornings. The commitment is from approximately 8:15 am until 10 am. Even if you are only able to help for part of this time, please contact Mrs. Radauskas to discuss how you can help us keep this program running daily.
We need volunteers to help at our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair (November 18th to 21st). Please contact the Office if you are able to help.
Be Ready for Bus Cancellations
FOG - The bus companies may decide to cancel buses in the mornings due to fog. They no longer delay buses because of fog. In these cases, buses will run as normal in the afternoon. Transportation to school in the morning becomes your responsibility. We will have a Kiss and Ride program running at the back of the school on these days.
WINTER WEATHER - When buses are cancelled because of inclement winter weather, they will not run in the morning or the afternoon. The school will be open unless we notify you otherwise. Transporting your children to school on these days becomes your responsibility but please stay safe.
The best ways to know about bus cancellations and possible school closures are: My Big Yellow Bus app, TVDSB website, New Sarum PS website, and School Messenger emails.

Students participated in our annual Terry
Fox Run on September 26th. New Sarum
students and staff raised an amazing $1270
which meant that Mrs. Shewan and Mrs.
Radauskas had to feed each other
chocolate pudding at our recent Celebration
Assembly.
Congratulations to our Huskies receiving recognition for Independent Work and Initiative.
Our next Celebration Assembly is on November 29th at 11 am.

Our Grade 7 and 8 Huskies had the opportunity to work with
Mr. Tim Gordon, CECI Music Teacher, and some CECI music
students. It was a wonderful learning opportunity.
Thank you Mrs. Baxter for organizing!
Congratulations to Khloe
Paul for her Top Ten finish
at the TVDSB Cross
Country Finals.
Fall centrepieces made by our Grade 2 and 3 students in Mrs. Wiebe’s class, along with help from their
Grade 5 and 6 buddies.
