T h e combined e f f o r t s of the Kent City Communi ty D e v e i o p m e n t A s s o -ciat ion and the Vil lage of Kent Ci ty lias p rovided the v i l l age with the much-needed o f f - su - ee t park ing and a s m a l l p a r k a r e a . T h e pa rk ing s i t e i s located on Ma in S t r e e t a c r o s s f r o m the m a i n b u s i n e s s a r e a and is expec ted to be s u r f a c e d and r e a d y f o r u s e by Thursday of this week .

In this c o o p e r a t i v e ven tu re , the v i l lage p u r c h a s e d one of the lo ts and the Deve lopment Assoc i a t i on p r o c u r e d the lo t a d j a c e n t to i t f o r tile d e v e l o p m e n t of adequate o f f -s t r e e t p a r k i n g .

Following the ques t i onna i r e s e n t out by the newly organized Deve lop-ment A s s o c i a t i o n , i t was d e t e r m i n e d that pa rk ing f ac i l i t i e s w e r e the n u m -b e r one need a t Kent Ci ty.
