will take place at 4.00pm.
Admission is £1 and refreshments will be available.
DOG FOULING
It has been brought to our attention that dogs have been
allowed to foul on our school playing field which has
resulted in two pupils standing in the mess. Dog fouling
spoils the environment and can cause serious health risks,
particularly to children. Whilst we are confident that
these offences are not being carried out by any of our
parents pets, we would like to ask you to be vigilant and
remind other village dog walkers to clean up after their
dog.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Our Year 5 pupils are currently reading the novel, ‘Trash’ by Andy Mulligan which is about a boy who lives on a
landfill site, and also reading poetry by John Wedgewood Clark on a similar theme. They have been learning all about
the worldwide problem with waste plastic and the importance of recycling. Yesterday, they held an assembly for their
family members where they showcased some amazing outfits all made from recyclable materials.
We would like to thank Miss Lanagan for organising this assembly and also our parents and carers for coming along
and supporting our pupils.
