Article I, Section VII of the Constitution basically says all bills must be presented to the President before becoming a law, but the president has the right to veto it if he does not approve. The framers probably put this in the Constitution because they did not want just 1 part of the government to create laws. This protects us from Tyranny because it makes the law-making process a group decision.
