Hello From John! What a busy schedule we have here at the Moose Lodge over the next couple of months so be sure to check the bulletins for upcoming events! There will be Christmas parties, Thanksgiving meals to cook, and News Years Eve Celebrations. And there are always all of our regular daily activities, so when you are tired and don’t want to cook and
clean during these busy months – COME ON DOWN AND LET US DO THE COOKING AND CLEANING FOR YOU! November 3rd began our Membership Retention Week and together with the Women of the Moose we Thank You! For renewing. We hope you enjoyed the daily GIVE-A-WAYS. This weeklong campaign concluded on Saturday, November 9th with our own MOOSE APPRECIATION DAY!FREE – hamburgers and fries were given to any member showing a paid dues receipt. That all being said, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to all of you who come down and support YOUR Lodge. However, there are a few special people who deserve special thanks. First, let me extend a HUGE THANK YOU to the Women of the Moose! They always seem to be around to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever there seems to be a need for anything – from cooking to cleaning and everything in between. Secondly, let me thank the Moose Legion members for all they do. Have you come through the NEW backdoor? Did you notice the NEW sewer line? If you did – thank a Moose Legion member.
There are also a few individuals I would like to individually thank: Ron Pop & Genise Gonzalez - it seems if there is a need for a cook or hostess they can always be counted on! Cameron & Donna MacNair – Need I say more about those two! Thank you to Jim & Corky Haws too, they have been cooking the Legion dinners for the last couple years and Corky was inspirational in organizing our Membership Retention Week drive. There are too many people to thank individually so to all of you – please accept my sincerest appreciation for all you do for your lodge. Celebrate the Holidays at out Social Quarters. Thanks to Marimichael and Her UNMATCHED Social Quarters Crew: Janine, Caroline, and Runa. All of our volunteers and members are THE BEST! Well hope to see you all soon. Fraternally,
John Garcia, Governor

Hello From Maureen A big thank you AGAIN to the Atomics Car Club who always donate 100 cupcakes for our "special needs" events and we had a full house for Halloween, Thursday, October 31st. Another big thank you to Mike Carlson, the balloon guy and his wife Val for making the Kids' Halloween party Saturday, October 26 a big success. Congratulations to Donna MacNair who received her red tassel at our November 5th meeting honoring her second year as a member of the College of Regents of our chapter. Genise Gonzalez chaired the ceremony. Christmas is coming... We've got an adult Christmas party Friday, December 6 (steak night) in the social quarters. A "Moose for the Kids" party Saturday, December 7from 3 to 5pm for Moose kids and grandkids. And a kids' Christmas party for all kids on Saturday, December 14 from noon to 3pm with Santa and lots of holiday goodies. Come on down to the Lodge. We're selling angels for the tree starting at $2.00 to help us buy warm clothes and Christmas gifts for our local, needy kids...our annual community service project that everyone should contribute to. The Women of the Moose cook dinner the second Friday of the month and serve our famous prime rib dinner the third Friday of the month. WOTM meetings are the first and third Tuesdays at 7pm. Blue Star Mothers attending on Nov. 19th.

Office (661) 947-7177
Desert Lawn Memorial Park is family owned and operated since 1977, offering options for casket or
remains burial. Each day grieving family members are faced with difficult decisions which must be made
quickly, under emotional duress and often with financial hardship. Our goal is to assist you in making these
decisions for yourself and loved ones not only at the time of need but before the need arises. Before need, purchase agreements can be written to fit your needs and budget, minimizing the emotional and financial strains that will be placed on loved ones later. Give us a call or stop by
our office; our caring staff is here to assist.
