DIRECT REDUCTION
TOREX performs research work on direct reduction processes. We have prepared
procedures on mixed material composition improvement with the purpose of DR-grade
pellet production. Such procedures meet the requirements of HYL, ITmk3 and MIDREX.
During laboratory and pilot tests, high quality of the DR product and cast iron granules
from titanium-magnetite and hematite concentrates has been obtained.
