The day could not run without the help of parents and their effort is appreciated, can the parent helpers please arrive at 9.00am for a briefing with Nicole and Dianna.
ICT Levy
Each year families pay a $50.00 ICT levy to allow us to continue to build our ICT equipment that is available to the children. This year’s money has been spent on Chrome Books and robotics equipment. The children are already using this equipment in their classroom and in the Discovery Centre.
Ground Improvements
Over the holidays we had worked completed to ensure that the Allen Building does not flood anymore when we have significant rainfall. We also have created an outdoor learning space at the end of the Joyce Building for the children to enjoy. Today we have had our line marking completed on the concrete outside the Marian Building. We will also be adding outdoor furniture to this space.
Storage Shed
We have finally been granted our permit for the construction of a storage shed at the rear of the Joyce Building. This will also contain a bike parking area and will house our kiln for ceramics.

EASTER SUNDAY John 20:1-9
Reflection:
Our Gospel today tells us about the disciples' discovery of the empty tomb. It concludes by
telling us that they did not yet understand that Jesus had risen from the dead. The details invite
us to reflect upon a most amazing gift, that is faith in Jesus and his Resurrection.
As Christians we believe that Jesus rose from the dead to new life at Easter. We also believe
the promise he made to his followers, that who-ever believes in Christ and lives in friendship
with God will be forgiven for their mistakes in life and their spirits will enjoy life with God.
Possible discussion:
What do you have that is new? How do you feel when you have something
new? Today, Easter Sunday, is exciting because we celebrate Jesus’ rising and living among us.
How can we show that Jesus lives within us in a new way?

TRINITY CAR PARK ETIQUETTE For greater safety and visibility, we are requesting that all
drivers reverse park into the marked bays.
Thank you all who use the pedestrian crossing area. You are demonstrating to your children correct road safety practices. Once children cross the pedestrian crossing into the parking area, they, for their safety, need to be placed into vehicles promptly. The car park is NOT a meeting area.
The lane around the edge of the car park (closest to the oval) are for vehicles waiting to pick children up from the Pick-up Zone ONLY.
The two parking bays closest to the office path are the PICK-UP ZONES. These are NO STANDING zones. I f your children are not ready to get into your car as you pull up to the pick-up zone, you must continue on and rejoin the end of the pick-up queue.
There is NO RIGHT TURN when exiting the car park. All vehicles must turn left for the safety of others and to maintain traffic flow.
THE GATES CLOSE AT 9.00am AND RE-OPEN AT 3.00pm. Occasionally they might re-open slightly later due to school activities.
Thank you for your patience and consideration of others.

I ask that you child participate in ARTSONIA this year, please fill out the permission slip & return it to your child’s teacher. Return the signed permission your child’s classroom teacher so that we may publish your child’s artwork. This is a unique, safe and educational opportunity for the students. Let’s join millions of fa-mous child artists on the internet!
If you wish to have a look at what trinity’s Artsonia website looks like, here is the link

Comment on your child’s artwork: One of the most exciting features about being published on Art-sonia’s Art Museum is that friends and family from anywhere in the world can leave a nice comment for the artist and become a fan club member of the artist.
As a security feature, Artsonia requires the parent to pre-approve all comments before they are posted on the website. This is one of many examples of how important your child’s safety and privacy are to both Trini-ty and Artsonia. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].
Please Return by Monday the 28th of February
Thank you for supporting the Visual Arts at Trinity.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Trinity Athletics Carnival will be upon us again early in term two, Wednesday 26th April, 2017. The students have begun preparing for the various track, field and novelty events in the Physical Education classes.
All students will travel by bus to and from Casey Fields Regional Athletics Centre, 160 Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East. The travel route w ill be Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, Berwick-Cranbourne Road and Casey Fields Boulevard to the venue.
All students are expected to participate on the day, however, if for any reason (e.g. injury or family reasons) your child cannot participate, please inform your child’s class teacher in writing. This information will help the day run more smoothly as many hours are spent organizing teams and events so that all students are involved.
The students are to wear their sports uniform, house colour t-shirt and runners. They will need to bring their snack, lunch, drink bottle, sunscreen and jacket (depending on the weather) in a school/sport bag. Please ensure your child has plenty of water to drink as there are no drinking taps available.
The students enjoy having as many spectators as possible, so feel free to come along and cheer them on! However, all spectators must remain behind the viewing fence at all times.
Please complete the attached permission form and return it to your child’s class teacher by Thursday 30th March, 2017.
In order for this day to be possible, we will require a substantial amount of helpers. If you are available to assist on this day, hold a current Working With Children Card and have attended a Parent Helper Workshop, could you please fill in the below form and return it to the office by Thursday 30th March, 2017.
