Prophylactic treatment of patients with high risk of CVS: • Early exclusion of bleeding source (aneurysm clipping/coiling).
• Basic neurocritical care (control blood gases, normovolemia, electrolyte balance, glucose,
temperature)
• Nimodipine 6 x 30 - 60mg p.os or 1-2 mg/hour cont. i.v. (21 days), statins continued or de
novo
• MgSO4 adapted to serum level of 1.5-2 mmol/l (14 days )
