Sidesaddle is often done by a girl to keep her skirt to the side.
Sidesaddle was to show proper etiquette when you rode.
Sidesaddle is when a girl Keeps both legs to the side.

Riding sidesaddle didn’t allow the rider to have full control of the horse
So another person would ride normal to control the horse
Owning horses
Mostly rich people were the only ones to have and afford a horse
You were judged on by how many horses you had
You would also be judged on if you could handle a spirited horse
Clothes while riding a horse
Women would wear gloves, tights, boots, and a garment to go horseback riding
Men would similar clothing like boots, gloves, and jackets.
Uses of horses
Horses were mostly used for transporting people heavy objects
They were also to showoff how rich they were all.
Types of horses
Men rode spirited horses that could be wild at times
Women rode more tamed horses
Horses uses for the families
Mainly horses did most of the work by transporting people and pulling heavier objects we can’t
