Sergeant Michael invited Acting President Dr Peter Condos who welcomed the guests from the Rotary club of Essendon North,
President Rosa Pereira, Max Nicholls, Barbara & Sam.
Peter reminded all present of the Australia day BBQ at the residence of Boris Struk on Thursday 26th starting at 12.30 onwards
he said 2 helpers are needed to assist in setting up the tent on the night before the event, on the 25th night, please contact
Peter. Peter informed those who will be coming on the 26th to bring their own drinks and salad & sweets.
Peter also mentioned about the Relay for Life on Friday 17/18th February and the Art show 25/26th March.
He also mentioned about Gateway Cluster night bowls together with RC Keilor Tuesday 28th February $20 three bowlers per
team
Peter informed those present about the need for home hosting 5 GVE members from the Philippines on Saturday 18th to 24th
February, 3 female medical field workers and 1 male Engineer. A detailed program will be issued when all arrangements are
locked in as much as possible.

DIK is now open and packing a container for Cambodia.
Richard Lawrence spoke about the proposed changes to the roads and the railway line that the State Government and the
Council are in the process of negotiating to obtain the best outcome. He stated that several roads will closed due to road
works. Richard also informed all of the opening of the new Caroline Chisholm Society on the 4th March.

Ponds Bowling Club from 7.45am to 9am.
