Consider working with a charitable organization needing help.
Form a Committee and Allow around 5 months
Plan activities with realistic numbers for volunteers and achievable scopes
Fundraise, seek sponsors or buy supplies
Start seeking volunteers early.
Rewards for Outstanding Community Service
Group Unity and Confidence
ASCE Awards given yearly include Public Service Awards to Groups or Sections and Citizen Awards to Individuals.
Dozens of Other ASCE related Awards can involve community service (Diversity Champion, “Young Faces”, Edmund Freeman, etc.)
Pre-College Outreach Committee will be raffling off laptops to those reporting their activities.
