NOTE FROM PRESIDENT by Sue Campbell Well the summer is coming to a close soon and we will be heading to our southern homes. The pool
has had some issues with the pump and so a new pump is scheduled to be installed by the end of Au-
gust. The patio and furniture have been cleaned and are looking very good. The sidewalks along the
building will be cleaned as well. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

MAKING OUR CLUB OUR FUN PLACE TO BE by Maryanne Patricia Cameron.
“Yes, it’s me again Ethel” (Ray Steven, Country singer and song writer). The greatest GIFT we can give our club is our creativity. Anyone who knew Barbara Riddle saw creativity at its finest. Whether it was art, clowning, or planning an event, she shared her creativity with us all. Carol White, Donna But-land , Marlene Demetrious, John Switchulus, Renee Dickenson are among those who have brought crea-tivity to the club through their ideas and their work, and Cedric Leblanc made parakeets to dress up one of our streets at Christmas time. There are many more residents here who have talents to give and share; think about what you might bring to the club, what change, what activity or moneymaking event that could be considered. The club had many moneymaking events at one time; these could once again be revived, and new ones could be added. Apathy or indifference can suppress our creativity, our ability to speak up about what is important, and our individuality; it can also restrain our interest to be in-volved. There are no well paid volunteers. Anyone who steps forward in a leadership role is trying to work for a greater purpose. Let’s all encourage the creativity of the person who steps up to volunteer. Open discussion is healthy; step forward with your ideas; none is insignificant; all are worthy of consid-eration. If you have differing ideas with someone, tell them quietly face to face, or write your thoughts and place the paper in the box in the office. Let’s also support those who have stepped up to work on the board of directors. It would be nice to see more members step forward for each of our major board positions and some to seek the unfilled board of director positions. But, let’s please support whoever is chosen. Once again, the club needs fresh ideas, leadership and many volunteers. We need to bring new aspirations for the life of our club.

BINGO by Millie Brown
We are still looking for volunteers to help with Bingo. Thank you to the member who has said she will help but, at this time, can only work one Tuesday a month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00
p.m. That is great, but if a few more volunteers could help, they would only need to work once a month, either from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. or 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. We really need your help as bingo is a great contrib-utor to the clubs financial funds. You can contact either Rita or Millie. If you want to call Millie at 941-473-3127 she will gladly pass the message on and make sure it gets to the right people.
LEMON BAY ISLES PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION by Cheryl Miller
Wow…September is here – soon many of our snowbirds will be returning to Lemon Bay Isles; and our season will soon take off with all our activities. I understand the rainy season has
spurred the growth of everything, so please do your best to keep your property in good shape, but also, be patient with the law service vendors – I understand it is so wet that many yards are a bit overgrown. As always, please remember to walk against, and ride with traffic; the speed limit in the park is 25 mph, and please pick up after your fur babies. Enjoy our “little piece of paradise”. Stay well and be safe!!
HOLIDAY ESTATES III HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION by Arvilla Collins
As we all know, it is time for us to start heading to our southern home! We'll be arriving
between September and January. Many will want to do repairs, build new and change things outside
their homes. Don't forget, we live in a deed restricted community. This means we agreed when we
bought, that we would live by certain rules. Whether you belong to the homeowners association or not,
you must abide by the deed restrictions. If you are making a change, you must submit them to the
homeowners association before you apply to the county or to a contractor. None of the board members
want to have to come to you after you have made a change and tell you that it must be removed. If you
do not have a copy of the deed restrictions, you can go to the Edgewater Club website, click on Holiday
Estates III, and you will find a copy there. If any board member can help you, please do not hesitate to
contact use. Good luck and quick recovery to our Secretary Margaret Bennett on her surgery.
