naturalist and educator from the Pember Museum, for a presentation on the
natural history of the slate valley region this Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m.
until noon. The presentation will be held at the 293-acre Hogan property,
located at 2077 State Route 22A in Hampton. The property, which has been
protected from future development, features a beautiful new barn, woodland
trails and scenic vistas.
Bernadette will bring mounted specimens of owls, hawks and a red fox. There
will be an educational game called "Wild Faces" and hands-on items - wings,
talons, and pelts, all for the touching and learning. She will also bring Max,
her live Canada Lynx! This is a free, family program which is open to the public.
